CostPerUse ("the App") is built by Shafiq Yajid. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the App.

Data Collection

CostPerUse does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. The App operates entirely offline on your device.

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Item names, purchase prices, categories, and usage history you create
• App preferences (theme mode, currency, haptic settings)
• Purchase status (whether you have unlocked premium features)

This data never leaves your device. It is stored using your device's local storage and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user ID and purchase transaction data from Apple or Google to validate and manage your purchase. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any personally identifiable information from the App. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Vibration: For haptic feedback on button presses (can be disabled in settings).

Data Export

The App allows premium users to export their item data as CSV. This export is performed locally on your device and shared using the system share sheet. No data is uploaded to any server.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no data is collected from any user, this policy applies to all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
